Bought this product to shield the futon mattress from dog hair and drool, it does very well. It doesn't need to be tucked in, it fit perfectly on my mattress, and it is a durable fabric. I really don't like the stretchy polyester covers that seem to be popular, they get massive rips instead of holes and are never comfortable to sit on in the summertime.I measured and it fit perfectly. The material is great and it came with two pillows. I brought a different futon cover from amazon claiming to fit 8'', but it was too small to put on. So I tried this one claiming to fit 8'' to 9'' although it didn't have many reviews. I was worried about the size when I opened the bag: It didn't look big enough. But when we put it on, it fit perfectly. I love the matching pillows too. The color (sunset) looks the same as shown online. The fabric is not very thick but seems durable. I am very happy with this purchase.This futon cover is so perfect. It fits absolutely wonderful and adds some nice color to the room. The zipper opening is easy to use and put on. There is minimal movement of the cover over the cushion. Overall the construction seems durable and well made.the material. the size was too largeIt was a little bit big for our futon mattress but the color is beautiful and it's held up so far.
